- The instructor was well-prepared, had excellent resources and materials. I loved her PowerPoint slide and her use of songs from YouTube and she demonstrated several hands-on activities with the class participants so we could experience them in action. Excellent workshop!
- The facilitator had excellent ideas about group work and how to work with multilevel students. Very informative and exciting. I've definitely learned a strategy that I'd like to share with my staff.
- Very informative and interactive having students read, respond, and relate to their experience...all three presentations were excellent!
- Fantastic workshop! I love that it is useful for teachers at all levels, easy to replicate and has the website as a resource. I love the CUNY Math problems. They were fun, interesting, challenging, and mathematical.

- I learned how important it is to relate algebra to everyday life so that students understand its relevance and importance. Making connections between texts and people is essential. Summarizing how you solve a math problem connects math to writing and also reinforces one's understanding of both subjects...(The workshop) gave us very timely and useful tools to use in the classes. Awesome!
- Very thought-provoking! Great materials presented in a well-organized manner. I loved the ideas in the workshop and the final activity...The readings were great, but would have to be abridged greatly to be useful in an adult literacy classroom... Great workshop overall!
